The New BMW X5: Fifth Generation Arrives
BMW has unveiled the fifth‑generation X5, blending bold design with future‑oriented technologies from the Neue Klasse. For the first time, the X5 range includes the fully‑electric BMW iX5 60 xDrive, offering up to 845 km range with sixth‑generation eDrive technology. South Africa will receive the X5 xDrive40d, X5 50e plug‑in hybrid, and iX5 60 xDrive from early 2027. With its striking new exterior, redesigned interior, and advanced driver‑assistance systems, the X5 continues to set benchmarks in the premium SUV segment.
